Enter the entire basement area (including the area of the garage) for the basement section to include the cost for excavation, floor structure, supporting columns and basement walls.
Use components 883 (Basement Garage, Single), 884 (Basement Garage, Double) or 885 (Basement Garage, Triple) to add the additional costs associated with the garage, including garage door and finishes on common interior walls and ceilings for a basement garage. Enter the number of each of these basement garages in the residence.
Instead of these components, you can add the cost of the basement garage finish by entering the size of the basement garage in square feet for component 888 (Basement Garage Finish Area).
