Enter the entire basement area (including the area of the garage) for component 801 (Total Basement Area) to include the cost for excavation, floor structure, supporting columns and basement walls.
Use this component to add the additional costs associated with the garage, including garage door and finishes on common interior walls and ceilings for a basement garage. Enter the size of the basement garage in square feet.
Instead of this component, you can use one of the following components to add the cost of the basement garage finish based on the number of cars in the garage: 805 (Basement Garage, Single), 806 (Basement Garage, Double) or 807 (Basement Garage, Triple).
