Enter any type of information to identify the estimate (maximum 50 characters).
Examples:
Assessment: Enter the Parcel Number
Appraisal: Enter an Appraisal Number or a File Number
Estimate ID is required.
You can use Estimate ID to search for an estimate when you want to change, recalculate or delete it.
Enter the name of the property owner (maximum 50 characters).
Property owner is optional.
You can use property owner search for an estimate when you want to change, recalculate or delete it.
Enter the address of the property as follows:
Property Address: Street address of the property (maximum 50 characters)
Property City: City in which the property is located (maximum 40 characters)
Property State/Province: Select the U.S. state or Canadian Province of the property
All three of these address items are optional.
You can use Property Address and City to search for an estimate when you want to change, recalculate or delete it.
Enter the 5-digit United States ZIP Code or 6-character Canadian Postal Code for the property. Residential Estimator uses the ZIP/Postal Code to determine the default local multiplier, region and climate. The local multiplier adjusts the costs for a specific geographical location, and is taken by Residential Estimator from Section F of the Residential Cost Handbook.
Note: Residential Estimator does not have Local Multipliers for all Postal Codes in Canada. For further information, see Using Canadian Postal Codes.
ZIP/Postal Code is required--you must enter it before you can calculate the estimate.
You can use ZIP/Postal Code to search for an estimate when you want to change, recalculate or delete it.
Using the drop-down list, select the appropriate type of construction (Site Built, Manufactured Housing ) for the property. NOTE: Once selected, it cannot be changed.
Construction Type is required.
Enter the date of the survey, appraisal or inspection in the format mm/dd/yyyy.
Survey date is optional.
Enter the name of the surveyor, appraiser or inspector (maximum 50 characters).
Surveyed by is optional.
Enter a comment about the estimate. This comment only identifies the estimate. It does not print in the report.
Comment is optional.
Enter the name of the person, company, etc. that the appraisal is being done for.
Appraisal For is required.
