Residential Estimator includes the following in the base cost for partitions and ceilings:
Low through Good Quality: Seamed ceilings.
Very Good and Excellent Quality: Drywall ceilings.
Seamed ceilings include any of the following: printed hardboard, prefinished plywood paneling or thin paper-veneered drywall.
Use this field to change from seamed ceilings to drywall as follows:
Low through Good Quality: Enter the percentage of the home with drywall ceilings. If the home has both drywall ceilings and drywall partitions, use component 632 (Add for Drywall Finish) instead of this component.
Very Good and Excellent Quality: Do not use this component. If you use it for these qualities, you will not get any additional cost, since drywall ceilings are already included in the base cost.
NOTE: Do not use this component with component 632 (Add for Drywall Finish), which adds the cost for both drywall ceilings and drywall partitions.
